Yep. You read that title correctly. At one point in time, many people believe it was after Christ died on the crucifix but before He was resurrected and ascended into Heaven, that Jesus Christ, the son of God, waltzed right into Hell and took those there that He felt worthy with Him, and brought them right up to Heaven – right in front of Satan and his highest ranking minions.

Did that catch your attention? I hope so, because I’ve been thinking about it non-stop ever since I started reading about it over a week ago. As a matter of fact, I spent a lot of money to obtain a book which deals with the works that mention this. And unfortunately, these works are obscure. As in, they are so obscure that the Roman Catholic Church doesn’t even acknowledge them as holy works. To make that statement even better, when they were petitioned – yes, petitioned – to be brought into the fold and regarded as scripture, they were denied. This is the definition of the word apocrypha. Read the rest of this entry »

First things first, let me explain why I am bringing this up: For the past ¾ of a year, I have been researching the Islamic “demons”, also known as the djinn. Their article is almost complete and will be released very soon, however, there is one thing that has come up in some of my own research that I feel the need to bring to your attention. I warn you, there are some readers who may honestly take offense to this article, and I can completely understand that. Please read with caution, and understand that it is not my intention to offend anyone. Read the rest of this entry »

Now, I don’t normally do this, but this application tickled my fancy, and I thought it deserved a spot on DC. It’s not secret that I am a blogger, who also write for a rather popular iPhone website, so I usually have my eyes peeled for any applications that will pique my interest, and today, my two worlds collided. Paramount Studios, in celebration for the release of their new Horror/Thriller movie “The Devil Inside“, starring Fernanda Andrade and Simon Quarterman and directed by William Brent Bell has released an application to help you determine whether or not you are possessed by a diabolical spirit. One of the things that I come by a lot, is the fact that there is a genuine misunderstanding of what is and is not permissible in order to have a potentially victorious exorcism. I am sure that most people may know that there are people throughout the world that offer up exorcisms, and while this may exist in some forms of Christianity, in the main sect of said religion, Roman Catholicism, having a Priest perform an exorcism without the express and clear permission from a Bishop is expressly forbidden. There are reasons for this, one of those reasons mainly being that in Europe, during the 1600’s at the height of the witchcraze, there were many, many zealots who were going around, creating their own types of exorcism rituals, and in far more cases than anyone cares to admit, the end result was not spiritual liberation, as would be expected or hoped for. The end result often turned out to be death. Read the rest of this entry »

One of the first entities that I have decided to write about in this type of format, as an attempt to dig into the mythos and discover rare or otherwise hard to find information about, was actually inspired by a movie that I was watching over a vacation of mine. The movie was “The Prophecy 3: The Ascent”, starring Christopher Walken and Vincent Spano. In this movie, they seem to be giving the main character, Danyael, a Nephilim, these unexplained impulses, and he is drawn to a certain area of the world where he is to meet what they refer to as “The Next God”, an angel named “Pyriel”. This intrigued me, because I had never heard of an angel referred to in this manner before, so I immediately began to research this entity. This is what I’ve found.

Editor’s Note: As we all know, explaining matters of faith to someone who doesn’t know what that is can be a bit difficult. This may apply to a child, someone who isn’t familiar with religion, or flat out just someone who never invested themselves deeply enough to learn. This article idea came up because I had recalled a brief instance in the past where myself (LVCIFER) and ANIMUS were discussing the fall of Lucifer from Heaven, and he had mentioned, fleetingly, the theft of a feather from the wings of the Archangel Michael. For some reason, months after this conversation, I approached ANIMUS and asked him to go more in depth about it, and I was presented with something infinitely better, that I thought deserved a spot on DiabolicalConfusions: a small, short little bedtime story, written for a child, explaining briefly the War in Heaven, the Fall of Lucifer, and the Creation of Demons. Now, obviously, with a little bit of modification, some fresh paint, and some quick research, I was able to adapt this to fit quite nicely here. But, before I do that, as usual, I have some “pre-reading”, or “homework”, if you will. There are some entities that are mentioned in this story, and before continuing to read, please feel free to download and scan through the PDFs I have assembled, so that you can obtain some type of idea in regards to who these entities are, and what they are capable of. They have been compiled from a short selection of books that I felt were best suited to the task, and all irrelevant information has been redacted. The list of downloadable PDF’s can be found here, divided specifically by entity, in alphabetical order:

Now, without any further distraction, please take a moment or two to learn about the War in Heaven and the Fall of Lucifer, through the eyes of a child.

One of the founding fathers of psycho-analytical psychology, Carl Jung, coined the concept of archetypes, subconscious concepts universally ingrained in the human psyche that embody a deeper part of our intelligence. Among the most well known of these is what’s called the Shadow Archetype, the living embodiment of the darkness within and without every heart, the part that acts with no restraint but in pure indulgent consumption. Jung said that the Shadow was what made man afraid of the dark in such a primeval way. But any child can attest that it is not the dark desires within themselves that wakes in them such a stirring fear when the world is without light, but rather that which dwells in the darkness. That their fear is real, and rational, and accurate, all because of what they feel and know watches and hunts them In the dark, living off of their life-force and growing stronger as time  and emotion – is spent through the every day rigors of life. Those who have experienced this feeling of not being alone in an empty room, knowing that once the light is extinguished, a whole new level of horrors await them in the darkness that is to be. It is the cause for a fear of the dark, and with good reason. Read the rest of this entry »
